My class of toddlers really enjoyed the catchy cover of Constance Can which made it easy for them to come to circle time . Once seated they loved the pictures and pointed to the different characters in the book. They fully engaged throughout the whole book , it was easy to read and they loved the message it brought . I love this book and it is a keeper in my classroom.

This is such a beautifully composed piece of children’s literature! As a reading teacher and a mom of three, I appreciate the carefully thought out details. Early readers benefit from predictable sentence structure and engaging artwork. My own daughter LOVED the pictures, and she likes predicting what would happen next. The book celebrates inclusive values and builds empathy intentionally, in a way children relate to and enjoy. My kids love this book! My 3 year old was immediately drawn to the bright colors and beautiful illustrations, particularly the flowers. She likes counting the snails and loves Constance’s “tiny legs.” My 5 year old is just learning to read, and this was a great way to practice. Such a great message for little minds.
